Weeds still sprouting through the filler

After clearing weeds and filling the gaps in my driveway, a week later weeds began sprouting through the black filler. Looks like I will be looking for another solution to stop growth in those cracks.

This trowel patch is being put to the test as I use it to cover wider areas than normal use... depressions about 18" across. First bucket stood up to all but direct tire pivoting/turning during summer heat. Second & third buckets were used more selectively but still exposed to moving cars. Going to apply standard driveway sealer over entire driveway as final step. I think all of it will be good until Spring, And, if so, I'll repeat same process in other areas of the driveway.

crack filler

After having such great success with the Gator Patch, I was finally able to use the, 'Trowel Grade crack filler' as the spring rains had paused for a couple days. I had cut out two areas and used an asphalt patch product to repair them but there were a multitude of large cracks spanning out from those area's. The crack filler completely covered and solidified perfectly. I've used other products, but have never seen the quality of everything I've bought and used from your company! Great products, and great service. God bless!
