Alkyd Paint

High-performance alkyd-based paints designed for traffic striping and pavement marking applications. Oil-based traffic paints are water-repellant when wet. These paints work well in locations with high humidity levels, and they must be cleaned up using mineral spirits, toluene, or other solvent thinners. Since the oil in oil-based paints does not freeze, many construction companies and municipal crews prefer to use solvent-based paints on parking lots and roadways in areas that experience freezing temperatures.
