Clipper Ship EM-50 Tack Coat is a professional-grade anionic asphalt emulsion designed for use as a tack coat, primer, or damp proofing material in pavement construction and maintenance applications. Manufactured by Seaboard Asphalt, EM-50 is produced to meet AASHTO M208 specifications and applicable state DOT requirements.

Available in pallet quantities of 12, 24, or 36 five-gallon pails, EM-50 is ideal for commercial paving, roadway maintenance, and municipal infrastructure projects.

Storage & Handling Guidelines

• Store in a heated tank with agitator when possible
• Maintain storage temperature below 160°F
• Do not allow to freeze
• Avoid extreme overheating
• Avoid use of high-shear pumps, especially at ambient temperatures
